  •     He had a problem… “How do you get people to pay for music that can, if illegally be downloaded free -- with out charging them for each song?” He wanted it to be legal Unlike Apple or Amazon who charge for each song
  •  MGM v. Grokster AND Sony v. Universal Studios
  •     Developed around 2007 by a company started by Daniel Ek Made public on October 7th 2008 It started in other countries making its way over to the United States on February 10th 2009 18 million songs, growing by 20,000 a day
