Documentary following an up and coming
independent band leading up to a gig at
the indig02, following them as they
promote the show, practice, deal with
promoters and other musicians.
It would give a behind the scenes look at
what it is like trying to break into the
music industry appealing to a young
generation of hopeful artists.
3. Possible cost
Facility house (including editor)-£1,000 a week
Camera equipment-£1800 a week
Van Hire-£19 a day.
Camera crew hire-£250 daily.
The documentary will be filmed over a period of
two weeks.
Total cost-£9,366.
4. Locations to be used
Pub/music venue (meeting places).
The homes of the artists.
Hangout areas: Denmark street & Camden
(which are big music scenes in London).
6. Actors needed & Crew to be
used
As this is a documentary feature, no actors
will be needed.
The on screen talent will consist of the
artists/musicians/bands.
Crew will be myself directing & presenting,
the hired camera crew filming, and an
editor working at the facility house.
7. The products’ selling point
The documentary would appeal to a young
demographic.
The intended audience would be young
male/females aged 16-25 who follow the
indie music scene and are into the
culture.
But it would also appeal to anyone else
with an interest in music.
