Ralph John Perou is a British fashion and portrait photographer born in 1970 in East Sussex, England. He studied photography at the University of Westminster and worked as a studio manager at Click Studios after graduating, where he learned professional photography. Perou has had numerous photography exhibitions in London and other cities since 1991 and opened his own photo studio, the Perou Factory, in 2000.

Ralph John Perou, known professionally as Perou, was born in May
1970 and is a British fashion, portrait and music photographer. He
was a judge on “Make Me A Supermodel UK” and also “Dirty Sexy
Things.”

Perou was born in a small village in East Sussex, England, called
Newick. He had a happy, carefree childhood growing up in the
countryside. But in 1991-1994 Perou studied for a BA Hons degree
in Photography, Film and Video Arts at the University of
Westminster.

After graduating in 1994, Perou had worked at Click Studios as a
studio manager where he met many of the world’s leading
photographers, assistans and people behind ‘Dazed and Confused’
magazine. During his time at Click Studios, Perou had learned
professional photography. He started shooting for editorial clients
and then bands.
