Business Metrics Model -Example Metric Framework Performance Plan Balanced Scorecard Be fit and healthy BSC Goal Lose 10 Lbs. (4.5 Kg) in 3 months CSF 1.) Weight loss target is being met - Green: +/- 5%; Amber: +/- 5-10%; Red +/- >10% KPIs 1.) Maintain caloric intake at stabilized level 2.) Complete 4 hours of exercise per weekly Targets 1.) Lose 5 Lbs. (2.25 kg) by end of first month,  2.) Lose 8 Lbs. (3.6 Kg) by end of second month  3.) Lose 10 Lbs (4.5 Kg) by end of third month Thresholds / Tolerances 1.) Rolling daily average of caloric intake >5% over stabilized level; Yellow Alert - 3 day average; Red Alert - 10 day average 2.) Rolling daily average for minutes exercised is less than 30; Yellow Alert - 3 day average; Red Alert - 10 day average  3.) Cumulative end of month weight loss; Yellow Alert - Less then 4 lbs lost by end of first month; Red Alert - Less than 6 lbs by end of second month.  Measures 1.) Daily caloric intake  2.) Minutes exercised daily 3.) Number of days from program start to current date 4.) Change in weight from program start to each month end Data Elements 1.) Baseline caloric level for stabilized weight 2.) Caloric burn rate for increments of 30 mins of strenuous aerobic exercise at target heart rate 3.) Count of days from program start 4.)
