  • 2. BE UTOPIANWe want to build new worlds where fiction is reality and games are new rules fordemocracy. If space is made by dynamics of exchange, then everybody can be thearchitects of our world and encourage creativity, reflexion and to renew socialbehaviours.EXPERIMENTArchitecture can expand into a multidisciplinary game where everyone brings his owntools and knowledge to contribute to a collective piece. We do refuse to enter the current architectural practice which serve the buildingindustry. We do deal with the reality of construction. We design, build and live our constructions and host the freedom for visitors toappropriate our projects. We produce an open source architecture that offer an access to basic publicamenities and a place for exchange : A physical framework for a direct andimmediate emulation between people and space. We wish to incite anyone to re appropriate and get involved with his own social andphysical environment.REACTANDACT

  • 4. EXYZT wish to express and share its strategy to spark urban renewal widerin the world.Based on the idea that a community of users actively creating and inhabitingtheir urban environment is key to generating a vibrant city.We wish to militate for this strong political statement by working withexisting situations to create conditions for vibrant points of communityand cultural engagement. We propose to implement exceptional and temporary public structures toexperiment in situ new models to inhabit and enhance public spaces anduses collectively. The run-up to each projects see the collective forming links with thelocal community and specific groups, providing them with a new place tohold events, share their work and ideas :Non institutional places where to imagine and test collectively new socialbehaviours.

Collectif EXYZTCollective domicilited in Paris since 2003EXYZT’s manifesto proclaims it as a ‘platform for multidisciplinarycreation’ whose aim is to challenge the view of architectureas an independent field of practice.
