1. SMPS Battery Charger
ESI SMPS Battery Chargers are dedicated Battery Chargers and generally used for OFF line
application. They normally restore discharged batteries within the specified time and make the
batteries ready for their next cycle of operation.
These chargers can broadly be divided in two configurations:
a) CV CC Charger
b) BOOST/TRICKLE Charger with variable current
c) FLEXI Charger with variable voltage & variable current
* CV-CC Charger output is current limited to the rated output current and can be connected to
the battery, even when load is drawing current from the battery. Output voltage can be varied
from 2.0 to 2.4V/cell. Output current can be adjusted from 70 to 100%.
* ESI BOOST/TRICKLE Charger is meant to be used for charging the Battery without any load
connected across the battery terminal. Output current can be adjusted as per Battery AH capacity.
A 12VX10A Boost/Trickle charger can charge any battery from 7AH [@700mA] to 100AH
[@10A].

* FLEXI Charger has the provision to charge from 1 to 4 numbers 12V batteries connected in
series from 700mA to 10A. FLEXI Charger is a Boost/trickle charger but can charge 1 to 4
Batteries from 7AH to 100AH.
