The 5LINX Energy Program empowers 5LINX® Representatives to refer commercial and residential energy customers to competitive suppliers. The Residential program allows customers in areas of NY, PA, OH, TX, GA, MD, NJ and Ontario to obtain information on energy restructuring and find great offers from reputable suppliers. 5LINX Energy Program Overview
1. The 5LINX Energy program brings competitive supply
o ers to electricity and natural gas consumers in select
markets. This program focuses on consumer awareness,
education on energy saving tips and the bene ts of
choosing a competitive o er. 5LINX Energy does not
supply energy, but rather o ers energy solutions to
help consumers potentially save on their bill and
through a network of providers o ers a simple,
interruption free transfer of energy supply.
2. Recent deregulation of the energy market has enabled 5LINX® to partner with
several companies, thereby allowing our representatives to o er energy saving
options in select US markets. We currently have 5LINX Energy o erings in:

3. HOW DOES
IT WORK?
1 Certi cation - Representatives desiring to market 5LINX Energy will need
to rst take a certi cation course. This training course is required by our
Energy a liates and must be completed prior to 5LINX Energy being
available on your Personal Website. To gain access to this course you will
need to visit your Virtual Office and pay a one-time certification fee
of $45.00.
Note: You must be certi ed to sell 5LINX Energy in order to receive
commission on Energy sales.
2 Training – Once a representative has paid their certi cation fee, they will
gain access to a special module in the 5LINX University. Upon completion
of this new energy certi cation module, the representative will be granted
access to participate in the 5LINX Energy program. Completion of the
module will also activate the 5LINX Energy program on the representative’s
Personal Website.
Note: The representative will be required to “re-certify” at least every twelve
months to maintain their ability to market 5LINX Energy. You will not need to
repay the certi cation fee.
3 Educate – The next step in the process is to educate your potential
customers based on what you have learned in the certi cation training.
Information regarding deregulation and the bene ts 5LINX Energy can
o er should be discussed.
4 Sign Up – Once you have a potential customer in one of the available
Energy markets, you will direct them to your personal website. Here they
will nd energy saving tips, information on the 5LINX Energy program and
an o er from one of our energy a liates. From here they will also enroll for
the change of their energy supply with one of our competitive suppliers.
5 GET PAID – Once your customer has enrolled with one of our energy
service providers, 5LINX® will be noti ed of the enrollment, the switch
over and you will GET PAID. The customer may not even notice a change
in their billing. That’s how easy it is with 5LINX Energy!
4. DOs and DON’Ts
with 5LINX Energy
DO:
• Clearly state that 5LINX® does NOT directly supply the energy
• Clearly state that 5LINX® does NOT work for the utility company
• Ensure that your customers visit your personal website to
receive all relevant information and sign up for service
DON’Ts:
• Do Not guarantee a savings
• Do Not misrepresent the offer(s) provided by the energy
services companies
• Do Not guarantee an enrollment by the energy service provider
• Do Not process an order for a customer
• Do Not conduct door to door sales
• Do Not conduct direct mailings
• Do Not misrepresent 5LINX® as an energy supplier
Any violation of these will result in IMMEDIATE
termination of the o ending representative.
