BARCELONA AIRPORT CONNECTIONS Barcelona Airport is located south-west of the city, between the city limits of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi. It is just 3 km from the Port of Barcelona, one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean for container traffic and the leader in the cruise market. BILBAO CITY DESCRIPTION YOU DREAM… WE DELIVER The precise origins of Bilbao have not been determined. However, a settlement had already been established and had significantly developed on both banks of the "ría del Nervión" before it officially became a villa. At the beginning of the 20th century, Bilbao was the great economic icon of the Basque Country and amongst the most important cities in Spain. The urban and industrial landscapes would change to face rapid expansion, growing beyond the city's boundaries and reaching neighbouring towns on both sides of the ría del Nervión, thus forming today's Great Bilbao . After years of financial uncertainty, Bilbao has once again become a dynamic city, full of amenities and focused on environmental and urban regeneration . With its lands freed from the old industrial settlements, the city is now undergoing a new physical transformation, becoming more and more appealing to visitors. The Mediaive Guggenheim Museum and the Euskalduna Palace, a conference and music centre, have become the icons of the new Bilbao , a city that is gradually regaining space and handing it back to the people. BILBAO AIRPORT CONNECTIONS YOU DREAM… WE DELIVER Bilbao Airport is located at 12 km distance north of the capital of the province Vizcaya, in the municipal area of Loiu. Bilbao stands out with its good connections to the north of Spain: the A-8, which conncects Bilbao with Santander, to the east and with San Sebastián, Irún and France in the east; as well as the AP-68 which connects the city with Vitoria, Logroño, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Burgos and Madrid. Just like Bilbao itself, the airport of the city has been developing a lot in the past few years. In the year 2000 the new terminal, a design from the famous architect Santiago Calatrava, was opened. It represents a flying dove. The building has two levels. The Departures Hall is on the second level and the Arrivals Hall on the first. The number of passengers transported is growing so fast that the terminal will probably be amplified in a few years. Bilbao Airport connects the city with most major cities of Europe. As the most important airport of the Basque country and northern Spain, 3,888,969 passengers have been dispatched in 2010. The Costa del Sol came into being as an international tourism resort in the second half of the last century. That was a time when a few wealthy people in search of something different came to these shores, while at the same time, mass tourism began to change the coast from a fishing and farming-based rural community to what it is today. Malaga is more or less in the center of the province’s coastline, dividing it into the Eastern Costa del Sol and the Western Costa del Sol, the two areas that make up the whole. Malaga City is also the communications hub of the province. One of the main reasons that the Costa del Sol has become a major tourism destination is its Mediterranean climate, with good weather right through the year, and a mean temperature of 18 degrees. It is often said that the province of Malaga is a small continent . Exaggerated and somewhat pretentious as this might sound, there is an element of truth in it. The province of Malaga, although the smallest in Andalusia, measuring 7.272 square kilometers , is indeed a land of contrast . Mountains, sea, rural villages and sophisticated tourist resorts. It is all here, and with the most extensive network of hotels anywhere in Spain, enjoying the contrast is one of life’s rare pleasures COSTA DEL SOL DESCRIPTION YOU DREAM… WE DELIVER MAX DAILY TEMPERATURE ºc JANUARY 16 FEBRUARY 17 MARCH 19 APRIL 20 MAY 23 JUNE 27 JULY 29 AUGUST 29 SEPTEMBER 28 OCTOBER 23 NOVEMBER 19 DECEMBER 17

  • 28. • 29. • 30.
