  • Why  STEM?  
  • What  IS….  
  • How  do  we  get  started?  
  • Change  is  hard!  
  • Every  day,  students   travel  from  class  to   class,  being  exposed   to  content  in  isolated   environments  
  • They  view   learning  as   an  assembly   line…   individual   packages   without   cohesiveness  
  • They  struggle   with  seeing   concepts  as  part   of  a  whole   package.      
  • Which  makes  it   difficult  for  them   to  apply  their   learning  to  real   world  situaDons  
  • Do  We  Teach  Skills?  
  • Skills  are  not   taught….     they  are   developed  
  • How  are   skills   developed?

  • Cut  The  Rope  
  • How  do  we   get  students   to  develop   these  skills  in   school?
