This document discusses the use of blogging in archaeology. It notes that Ian Hodder was the first archaeologist to blog online about his preliminary interpretations of excavations. It also mentions that the Moesgard Museum has 14 active blogs by 30 bloggers. Some examples are given of archaeologists who blog about their excavations, including one who blogs and vlogs about excavations in Sarup and another who blogs about an excavation in Aarhus that ended in 2009. The document advocates for more archaeologists and non-archaeologists to use Web 2.0 tools to collaborate and further understanding of the past.
