David Doughty | Founder | NEDWorks
David is the founder of NEDWorks the network for Non-Executive
Directors and Chairs of Private, Public and Voluntary sector Boards, and
CEO of Excellencia. He is a chartered director and highly experienced
Non-Executive, Chief Executive, Chair, Entrepreneur and Business
Mentor. David has extensive executive and non-executive experience in
small and medium enterprises in private, public and voluntary sectors
including the NHS. He is also a board level consultant to multi-national
organisations and a Chartered Director Ambassador for the Institute of

Dr Neill Moray MacKenzie | CEO | Roji Ltd.
Neill is an internationally networked pharmaceutical executive with an
extensive operational, business, commercial, licensing and R&D
background in a range of therapeutic areas. Over the last 16 years Neill
has served on the Boards of CMP Therapeutics Ltd as CEO, Roji Ltd as
founder and CEO, Medigene AG (listed on the German Börse) as SVP
Business Development and Commercial Strategy, Avidex Ltd, as CBO,
Oxford BioMedica plc (listed on the LSE), and BioMedica Inc as co-
founder and Executive Vice President of Business Development and
Corporate Strategy and with Cambridge Genetics Ltd he was the co-
founder and CEO. In these companies he took primary responsibility for
all elements of corporate business development, including M&A, partnering, licensing, PR and IR.
And in his most recent role as CEO of a virtual company, he took responsibility for all aspects of
the business from research, clinical trial management and regulatory submissions in addition to the
financial, corporate and business development activities. As an Executive Director with P&L
responsibilities in listed (LSE and AIM) and private companies Neill has raised over $150 million
equity capital from private and public funds.
2. Heather White | Founder | Non Exec Hub
Heather is a highly skilled international coach, trainer and
speaker on the subject of career and business networking
and the Founder of The Non Exec Hub. She is also the
founder of Smarter Networking, a niche organisation
specialising in networking for business and career success.
Over the last 15 years Heather has worked with scientists to
sales people, business owners to senior management,
graduates to retirees and entrepreneurs to employees. Her
clients include organisations such as Accenture, Cambridge University, KPMG, Ernst & Young,
London Business School, Rolls Royce and many other blue chip organisations to name but a few.
In June 2013 Heather was invited to speak at TEDx Oxford and the new video will be launched on
TED. One of her roles is to work with groups who are seeking to develop their NED/Trustee
careers - helping them identify and build their brand, find networks and keep in contact with key

Professor Bryan Foss | Independent board member
Bryan is an independent board member, risk, audit and remuneration
chair with multiple public and privately backed companies. He has also
worked on UK government boards and with IBM's Insurance & Banking
international industry sector challenges for the bulk of his career. As
Visiting Professor, Bristol Business School, Bryan advises insurance
boards and numerous suppliers connected with strategic and
operational transformation projects in FS. As an independent, strong
representation and alignment of the needs of all stakeholders is
important to Bryan, including customers, employees, investors,
business partners, regulators and more. Bryan's qualifications include
