    • The teacher:
    • -Good morning children! Please sit
    • down.
    • I want to ask you a question:
    • Do you know any subcultures? If yes, what are they? Can you please tell me the characteristics of every subculture that you know one by one?

What was the motto of the hippie movement? Why do you think the part of the movement was called «The Summer of love»? When did hippie movement appear? Explain (as you think) why after the Vietnam war the hippie movement became unpopular? Who were the representative os this movement? What is the difference of the hippie subculture to the others? Why did hippie use drugs? Imagine that you live in the 60s-70s and you have to promote the hippie movement what arguments will you give to someone to join in it? What did they use to show their protest? Imagine you need to describe to someone the appearance of a hippie how would you present him/her What was the name of the event and the number of people who visited it in 1969? In your opinion how would neo-hippie look in our days? What ideas of hippie still exist?

    • group 2 is to sit around group one so that you can hear their discussion, listen without interrupting and make notes on the main points that are discussed and write down your questions and commentaries.
