focuses on the importance of eating right. Consuming a balanced nutritional
meal each day is one of the most crucial elements to the diet plan of an active
person or an athlete. This means eating whole, unprocessed meals for the
appropriate balance of vitamins and minerals, proteins, fiber, and other
crucial nutrients without the inclusion of too much sugars and fats.
Health and fitness and psychological wellness are essential elements to
dismiss. The perks of an active, energetic, healthy way of living that are
certain. Whether you decide to enhance your degree of activity a bit or
develop and participate in an extensive fitness plan, any attention you
designate to health and fitness and well-being will certainly settle well in the
long run. Darclee Warshoff recommends consulting fitness experts to

A steak is a tougher meat to deal with and hence must be pounded to ensure that it
cooks through until tender. The one reason that most active individuals consume this
meal is due to its potent properties and also because it cooks fast and is inexpensive.
Serve it with mushroom sautéed with sherry sauce and creamy mashed potatoes and you
have a full-fledged meal to enjoy.
Ingredients you would need are 4 cube steaks of 4 ounce each, three fourth a teaspoon of
freshly ground pepper, half teaspoon salt (or as per taste), two tablespoons extra virgin
olive oil, two and half cup sliced mushrooms, a large thinly sliced shallot, a tablespoon of
all-purpose flour, a teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme or a quarter teaspoon of the dried
herb (if fresh is not available), half cup dry sherry, half cup reduced-sodium meat broth,
and two tablespoons low-fat sour cream.
# Steak with Mushroom &
Sherry Sauce Recipe
Over each of the cube steak, sprinkle half
teaspoon pepper and salt and set it aside. Over
medium heat, heat tablespoon oil in a large
nonstick flat pan and add the steaks. Cook
each steak for a couple minutes on each side,
turning once, until brown. Cook the steaks in
batches if they look cramped up for space in
the skillet. Transfer the steaks onto a plate and
cover it to keep the meat warm and tender.

Preparation Steps
• To the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon oil. Add mushrooms, diced
shallot and the remaining teaspoon of pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes,
while stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms turn to a golden brown
color and have released their fluids. Sprinkle flour and continuously stir for
a minute until there are no lumps seen. Add the dried or fresh thyme,
sherry and the meat broth. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 3
minutes, while continuously stirring, until the mixture is thick enough to
coat the back of a teaspoon. Remove from the heat and add the sour
cream, stir until mixed.
• Return the steaks, with any accumulated juice, to the pan and turn such
that the sauce coats each steak. Serve hot.
