As Instruction Coordinator and Professor at WIU Libraries, I facilitate the instruction team, teach information literacy, and collaborate to develop programs, policies, materials, and systems. Whether leading or collaborating, I feel gathering diverse opinions and working through differences in individual perspectives often leads to the best outcomes.
This extends to experience in organizational governance. The past four years I served on 27 committees and task forces where I played an active role in determining the direction of the university, such as implementing Google Apps for Education on campus.
