Post play and post touches are vital to having balance in the offense. When
the ball enters the post there are several reads our players will make and cuts
that will give the post player room to operate.
Ball Side Wing Defender “Digs, Stays, or Backs Off” = Basket Cut
Low if passer is below the mid-post
High if passer is above the mid-post
Post Double from Ball Side Wing = Spot Up, Screen Away, or Cut Through
Post Double from Weak Side = Ball Side Post Dive on the Rim and Everyone Rotate

These are actions happening simultaneously on each side of the floor based

soon as possible.

Try to set your screens big to guard and guard to big
