Electric Vehicles：Leading the Global Energy Revolution!

 On Dec 15th, 2008, BYD F3DM, the world’s first plug-in Dual-Mode electric
vehicle hit the market in Shenzhen.

 BYD pure-electric vehicle e6 and several other vehicles displayed at the
Annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders’ Meeting.


——Short term goal: Dual Mode Electric Vehicles （DM）

F3DM: Chinese strength, lead the world.

 Free shift from EV mode to HEV mode（DM
is short for Dual Mode）
 “Electricity for short distance, and oil for
long distance”
 Over 60km in EV mode per charge under
urban conditions
 Can be charged with household 220V power
supply, independent of specialized charging
stations

——Medium and long term goal: pure electric vehicle

 Duration mileage of more than 300km under urban conditions

 Gross capacity: 200KW; 19 degrees for 100 kilometers;
