 建於1867年，是美國十所最大的州立大學之一，也是芝加
哥地區最大的一所結合教學、科研和開發為一體的綜合性
高等教育院校。
 其藥學院至今已有120年歷史，目前全美最新排名在第14
名。
 美國伊利諾大學有提供Pharm D (藥學博士)課程，對臨床
實習學生提供一對一、一對二的教學及訓練，其臨床訓練
課程十分嚴謹與充實，畢業的Pharm D可以直接進入醫院
提供臨床藥事服務，而不會有任何銜接上的問題。

The Art Institute of Chicago
1879年成立，分為藝術學校和美術館，曾孕育出
不少人才，如Walt Disney
校內館藏超過250000件藝術品，以印象派和後印
象派畫作聞名，典藏來自世界各地，包括古埃及、
希臘和羅馬時代的藝術品。

Millennium Park
千禧公園為芝加哥近百年最重要的都市計劃，
2004年開幕以來已成為當地熱門的觀光景點之ㄧ。
園內隨處可見大型公共藝術，近幾年多部好萊塢
電影都能見到千禧公園的身影。
公園東面向湖，西、北面向摩天樓群，提供民眾
欣賞都市風采。

The Crown Fountain
皇冠噴泉為西班牙藝術家Jaume Plensa所設計的
大型公共影像藝術，噴泉中間為花崗岩倒影池，
兩側高15公尺，以LED發光螢幕顯示臉譜的長方
形水塔所構成，臉譜則委託芝加哥藝術學院的學
生取鏡於近千名芝加哥市民。

Cloud Gate
由印裔英國雕刻家Anish Kapoor所創作，由於外
型與豆子相近，又被芝加哥人稱做「The Bean」。
這件重達113公噸的作品由168片不鏽鋼板組合而
成，表面非常光滑，是座環景的大型鏡面鋼塑體，
能清楚反射出行人身影。

Jay Pritzker Pavilion
普立茲克露天音樂廳是由著名建築師Frank Gehry
所設計，為全美唯一免費的戶外古典音樂廳，夏
日常舉辦音樂節慶，包括爵士、藍調、流行和交
響樂，觀眾可選擇坐在座椅區或後方大草坪聆聽
演出。

Willis Tower
又稱作Sears Tower，芝加哥最具代表性的摩天
大樓，為北美第一高樓，外觀的九個巨管，最初
的靈感是來自香菸盒裡長短不一的香菸。
1973年完工，有108層，高442公尺。於103層觀
景台有設置skydeck，彷彿可漫步在天空。

Navy Pier
海軍碼頭為大型觀光碼頭，內部設備齊全，餐廳、
劇院、遊樂場、博物館和紀念品店等皆有。

Old Chicago Water Tower District
為儲存密西根湖的乾淨湖水供芝加哥市民飲用，
1871年芝加哥大火後，改為市立畫廊，對街的
抽水站重新規劃為遊客中心和鏡子戲院。

1970年由Willis Tower設計團隊建造，高100層，
由寬漸窄的鋼骨建築，獨特的X型支撐骨架環抱
在大樓四周，並穩固大樓基底。

Lincolin Park and Zoo
林肯公園位於舊城區，是1850年代德意志天主教
移民的群居地，周邊有動物園、溫室花園和自然
博物館。
動物園成立於1868年，為全美最大的免費公共動
物園，包含15大主題區，超過2300隻不同種類的
動物。

Chinatown Gate於1975年完工，從牌坊進去即為
中國城舊城，每年中華民國國慶日都會在此舉辦
盛大遊行活動。

包括Shedd Aquarium、Adler Planetarium and
Field Museum。
Shedd Aquarium館內展出超過1500種海洋和地
面生物，亦有特展和4D電影等供欣賞。
Adler Planetarium成立於1930年，為西半球第一
座天文館。
Field Museum收藏超過2100萬件動植物標本，尤
其是恐龍標本深受大人小孩的喜愛。

What I have learned
The schedule of program is very flexible, not
only in-deep knowledge but also cover
pharmacy education, pharmacist role in clinical
practice, introduction of Chicago and so on. Also,
the experiences about how to become a
professional clinical pharmacists and how to
develop the pharmacy clinics are inspire me so
much.
