2. WHAT COLOUR SCHEME WOULD YOU
CONSIDER TO BE APPROPRIATE?
➤ The majority of people who I
asked to fill out the
questionnaire picked the colours,
hot pink and bubble gum blue.
➤ As my hypothesis I thought that
these colours would be the most
popular.
➤ So as they are the most popular
colours I will chose these as my
colour scheme.
➤ Even though two of these are
fashion magazines they are good
examples of magazines with the
colour scheme of pink and blue.
3. WHAT NAME WOULD YOU THINK WOULD SUIT THIS TYPE OF MAGAZINE?
➤ There was many good names that the
people gave, here are some that
stood out the most:
➤ Lollipop, Teen pop, Popalisious and Gucci Girl.
➤ However I don't think I would be able to use the name Gucci
Girl, because the name ‘Gucci’ is a brand name, so this is why I
don't think I would be able to use it.
➤ Lollipop is very good because it is a play on word, this is because
it has the word pop in, and lollipop is a sweet. So I may use this
because it is catchy and a play on word.
➤ Teen pop is the name I will use because it focuses on the
audience range which is teens and includes the genre pop.
4. WHAT TYPE OF PEOPLE WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE
MAGAZINE ?
➤ This was a multiple choice question,
however I might only pick two or
three.
➤ I will definitely use a male singer
because it is also something girls
would like to see, plus this is what is
normally on a poster if it is included
in a magazine.
➤ I will also use a female singer because
it is the most popular but I will also
use it because a female singer is a
teenagers role model, all girls would
love to be a singer and they look up to
pop stars for most things. They look
up to them for fashion sense, make up
products, make up tips, nail tips and
many other things.
5. WHAT TYPE OF ARTICLES WOULD YOU WANT TO BE COVERED?
➤ All of these article would be good to cover. However I can
only pick two. So I will pick the two most popular to use on
my double page spread.
➤ The most popular is ‘artist relationships’, I predicted this
would be the most popular because this is what most teens
want to know. Its because most girls look up to the female
artists and might go for a type of guy their role model goes
for.
6. WHAT TYPE OF PHOTO WOULD YOU
WANT TO SEE ON THE FRONT COVER?
➤ For the female singer the most
popular shot is the mid shot, this is
probably so they can see their clothing
and make up.
➤ For the male singer they chose a mid
shot this is probably so the girls can
see a bit more than just the face of the
male singer.
➤ For the girl band they chose a mid
shot, they probably chose this for the
same reason as the female singer.
➤ For the boy band they chose a mid
shot, however I thing I would use a
long shot because then you could see
the whole of them. Also a mid shot is
used more for a poster of the boyband.
7. EXTRA IDEAS
➤ People suggested interesting things, like saying when the next
magazine issue is out, this I can add to the front cover or the
contents page.
➤ Also free item advertisement was a good idea, this helps make
my magazine look realistic.
➤ Also a quiz is a good idea, maybe a quiz to see what male
artist they are compatible with.
➤ Also nail art maybe a good idea because many girls enjoy
painting their nails and designing new nail designs.
