  1. 1. Homelessness Children! Project Status: CALL FOR ACTION! Team Leader: ESRAN MUSTAFA Impacted Youth: Street Children in Karachi, Pakistan and orphan children in Skopje, Macedonia. Team Mates: 2 Volunteer Hours Spend: 5 hours X 7 days Impact: 11 children

As a result of abandoned childrencaused… AIDS epidemics Prostitution Civil war in Africa The effect of politics, economics, social crises 90% of street children use psychoactive substances(medicines, alcohol, cigarettes, heroin, cannabis) Medical care! Inadequate living condition increase susceptibility to chronic illnesses The mental, social and emotional growth are affected by their nomadic lifestyles … Security, protection, and hope More than anything else, they lack love!

Solution! Everyone of us to do at least something for every street child the number of homeless children would be reduced…. Give your moral and financial support to these children it would really make e big difference in their life… Lets get all together and help this children, lets stop this forever!

How to get Involved? By volunteering working in shelters and other area on your country Participating in legislative efforts Funding the program that assist street children You can raise awareness of this issue by educating yourself, your peers, colleagues, students, teachers, family members, and others around you interested in this issue.
  9. 9. People already in action! Casa Alianza, active in Mexico and Central America; Child Hope in UK Butterflies, in New Delhi; Street Kids International, in Canada On a local and regional level, initiatives have been taken to assist street children, often through shelters.
