We had our own “Christmas Miracle” this year! It all just clicked and we had everyone together for several hours to eat, open presents, and just sit around talking and catching up. That’s when it hit me, THIS is my ideal day! This is my BIG WHY! This is what will motivate me to “meet my goals” and succeed!

Am Motivated to Meet My Goals
What is my BIG WHY? Every multi-level busin ess th at I h ave ever
join ed h as asked th at question . They usually demand an answer! Th ey
say th at your ‘Why’ should make you cry because it is so
importan t to keep you motivated.
I never had one that made me cry. Never had one th at would make
me meet my goals. Oh , I’ve g iven people a lot of an swers wh en th ey
asked me th at question . But th e an swers h ave never really rang 100%
true. Until now . . . . .
Discovered my BIG WHY . . . . . now I just
have to meet my goals!
Th is past Ch ristmas Day was so wonderful. Th in g s just worked out like th ey were
supposed to. Well, not everything. I burned my pies for the first time in my life! Honest! I’ve
burn ed man y th in g s in my life, most by acciden t. But I h ave never burned pie!
Anyway, here’s a little bit about my family. We are a “blended family”. Steve an d I were
married n early th irty-th ree years ag o. It was th e secon d marriag e for both of us. I h ad a
daug h ter, ag ed eig h t, an d a son , ag ed four th e day we married. He h ad a daug h ter, ag ed 6
1/2, an d a son , ag ed four. Our boys are on ly a mon th apart. It was almost like having two
sets of twins.
So a big challenge every Thanksgiving and Christmas has been to get our family together, at the
same time, in one place. And it has only become worse as they get older! Between th eir
crazy work sch edules, “other” paren ts, an d tryin g to visit th eir frien ds . . . . . it starts to seem
like an impossibility for our kids to g et tog eth er with us. This always stresses me. Can’t
help it. Stressful!
But we had our own “Christmas Miracle” this year! It all just clicked

So th at’s it. Meet my g oals and help my kids to fr ee up T HEIR
time. We’re both retired; we have all kinds of time! On e of th ese days, my kids will realize
th at Steve an d I h ave discovered something that they can also use to free up some of their
time. Rig h t n ow, th ey fig ure we’re just doin g th at “little blog g in g th in g ”.

2. They humor us by putting up with us when we get excited about it. My goal is to succeed
beyon d their wildest dreams, n ot min e. I already know th at Empower Network is g oin g to

us to help our kids.
