“The role of teacher is constantly evolving and changing, and
sometimes we feel that we are not supported. That being said,
many are often unaware of some of the amazing opportunities that
social media is not only providing our students and teachers as well.
As learners first, teachers will see and find ways to promote
creativity, innovation, while inspiring their voice and the voice of
their students.” George Couros
George will be presenting “Connected Learning in a Digital Age” based upon his own
experience of what it means to be a connected educator and the importance of using
social media to help enhance the learning opportunities for educators, as well as
students. Doing this together is an amazing opportunity because it helps to create
true “learning organizations”.
Participant are invited to stay on for a 2 hour “staff meeting” with George from 2.45 to
4.45pm.
