How to make a stop-motion film using imovie:


   1. take a minimum of 75 photos of a process or activity of your choice


   2. copy the photos into iphoto


   3. open imovie and import your photos by clicking on the camera icon


   4. create a new project by going to “File”, “New Project” and give it a name


   5. select all your photos and drag them into the project window (top left)


   6. click on the first photo to select it (there should be a yellow border when it is
      selected)


   7. with the first photo selected, go to “Edit,” then “Select,” and then “Photos”


   8. click on the “crop icon” on the first photo (top left corner)


   9. click “Fit” and then “Done” (when the option appears on your preview screen
      on the right)


   10. click on the “gear icon” on the first photo (bottom left corner) and choose “Clip
      Adjustments”


   11. in the clip adjustment window, change the “Duration” to 0.1 s and click
      “applies to all stills” and then click “Done”.
12. add music and sound effects to your film by copying an MP3 to the desktop and
   dragging it into the project window or by clicking on the music note icon and
   selecting from the drop down menu.
