  3. Start with a bit of fun – it is Friday after all!!! And completely non recruitment or bullhorn related but… Did you know its World Martini Day !!!! Also use the hashtag #MartiniDay Gin or vodka: usually made with gin and a hint of dry vermouth - in a five-to-one ratio. Expect an olive or a twist of lemon peel as garnish. Dry, wet, Ordering it "dry" is asking for a martini with less vermouth than usual. A "wet" martini — you guessed it — comes with more vermouth than the standard ratio. Shaken or stirred: "Shaken, not stirred" might sound familiar thanks to Mr. Bond. A shaken martini, mixed in a cocktail shaker with ice, usually produces an icier, cloudier, and slightly more diluted drink. A stirred martini chills the cocktail without diluting it quite as much from the ice. Dirty: Olive lovers are sure to appreciate a "dirty" martini. This version adds olive juice for an extra briny taste. Gibson: A Gibson is still a martini; the only difference is that is comes garnished with a cocktail onion instead of an olive or peel. Vesper: For something a bit different, try a vesper: a martini composed of gin, vodka, Lillet Blanc, and a lemon twist.

TIPS: Filter on USERS to show only your tasks Make sure you have the IS COMPETED column showing Filter IS COMPLETED by INCOMPLETE to show the tasks you need to do.
  5. You can save your search strings in BH. Save you loads of time – great way to find new talent recently added to bullhorn ! <<Run Business Analyst search>> TIPS: Date added – Descending Filter on past 7 days (Joe Bloggs should show to the top)
  6. <<Add Emma Watson’s CV>> WHY? Keyword search the CV Remember to Categorise and skill you candidates according to what they do…. Your search results will be sooo much better if you get this information on!! Remember to show the next slide near the bottom and talk about shortlisting candidates straight away for roles

  10. Hotlists are awesome!!!! I have a mini video blog about this wonderful tool already. <<go into hotlists>> Great way of setting aside strong candidates so you can react to new vacancies quickly. Market candidates out. You can have lists of contacts and vacancies too… Send newsletters to CONTACTS, or just have an up-to-date list of your HOT VACANCIES.   11. <<Use vacancy #113880>> Predominantly uses the words within the DESCRIPTION field. If description is over 250 words will only look at this. If less than 250 will look at any file attachments.
  12. Great area to use when recruiting similar roles. Tips: Filter on USERS to show your previously shortlist candidates. REMOVE AFTERWARDS!!!! Filter on VACANCY to find vacancies similar to yours - JAVA Filter on a CLIENT NAME to find candidates put forward to similar businesses – AAA Filter CANDIDATE STATUS to New, Active & Interviewing.
  13. Walk into the interview armed with some LIVE vacancies to talk to your candidate about. Even if they aren’t your jobs, a split fee is better than nothing!!! <<Vacancy search on .NET, JAVA, accepting candidates>>
