The annual APM Scottish Conference will this year be held at the home of Scottish rugby - BT Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh.
On Thursday 10th September the APM Scotland branch will welcome headline speaker Guy Richardson of Eiger Sport and Business Performance ltd as well as a number of other speakers to present their Scottish based projects (with local, national and global impacts!) all in the name of demonstrating the importance of leadership towards project success.
In the evening we will be joined by Scott Hastings, former Scottish rugby international and captain of the Scotland Sevens team will be speaking after the Conference dinner.

The annual Scottish Conference has been going
for 5 years now and continues to see a good
turnout – not just from APM members in
Scotland but also from further afield

Our annual conference comprises a variety of speaker-
led breakout session and workshops, inspiring plenary
session speakers, all in an easy-to-reach, Edinburgh

5. After-dinner speaker:
Scott Hastings
Rugby World Cup
Scott is Scottish Rugby’s most capped centre three
quarter and has played in 51 Internationals. Ever
present in the Scotland team for a period of 11
years he has played in ten of Scotland’s fourteen
World Cup games. Now Scott has moved to the
other side of the try line and will re-join ITV for their
coverage of the Rugby World Cup in September
2015.

Lawrence will focus on the journey as
project manager to deliver the new bridge
across the Firth of Forth.

PMO: Supporting and
enabling project success
Tracy has over 25 years of project management
experience in the IT sector – she’ll be looking at
leadership of a number of PMOs as they are
amalgamated in to one enterprise office for CGI
Justice.

High flying technology
Greg will focus on the Agile development team
which he is part of that spans 7 countries and
counting, providing new products and features to
42 million regular users.

in a world of ambiguity
As Chief Executive of CHAS (Children’s Hospice
Association Scotland) Maria has spent the last 5
years leading the organisation’s new strategic plan
as well as introducing progressive policies in key
areas within the organisation.

Military Tattoo
Project management
behind the ramparts
Rupert is currently preparing for his fourth season
as event manager at the Royal Edinburgh Military
Tattoo – covering planning, operational
management and stakeholder engagement, Rupert
will explain how this annual event includes a
complex programme of diverse projects which
require strong leadership.
