 APM BoK Definitions
– Uncertainty: A state of incomplete knowledge about a
proposition. Usually associated with risk, both threats
and opportunities.
– Risk Event: An uncertain event or set of circumstances
that should it or they occur would have an effect on the
achievement of one of more project objectives.
