There's so much that Office 365 has to offer small to large organizations. However, the current reality is that most organizations are only using about 20% of the available capabilities. Why not understand the Entire value of the suite of Office 365 applications so your users can take full advantage of what you are already paying for!?
Making sense of all that's included with Office 365
1. Are you thinking about the following?
How do I make sense of all that’s included in Office 365?
Does our team even need all of the Office 365 applications?
How do I roll out Office 365 applications? All at once or individually as
needed?
If Yes, Great! This session is for You!

Manage billing
Setup your users
Attach your domain
Track usage by your users
Mail is still the best way to communicate externally.
Even though there are many other options, email is still a good way to communicate with the team internally as well.
Access to Groups conversations from Mail
Create a Group to come together as a team. Could be for a project or could be long term, let’s say for the marketing, sales, IT, execs, etc.
Groups can’t be backed up unlike a SharePoint site.
Groups are Exchange based
For example, we have separate groups for Marketing, Sales, and Product
Groups have Outlook based calendars.
Easily see your calendar overlapped with other Group calendars.
People ‘related’ to you in some way.
Wunderlist as well for personal task management
Planner:
Issue tracking
Project log type of work
Resource management
Replacement of sticky notes
Project management tool for Ad-hoc teams
Visual way to organize team work
A Plan is created in Planner when you create a Group
Individuals: personal task management
Project Teams: Project Server or MS Project
Competitors: Trello, Asana, Wunderlist
Log in to Wunderlist using an Office 365 account
No tile on the app launcher yet
Chat based workspace
(similar to Slack)
Chat organized by Teams.
Channels exist within teams to discuss specific topics.
Follow a channel to get notifications.
Video chat capability.
On by default once it went General Availability on 3/14/17.
Public Teams - open to anyone in the company who wants to join it.
Ability to send emails directly into Teams.
Attachments go into the associated SharePoint site for the team like all other files.
Connectors to connect to other services.
Private chats and small Group chats are possible.
Internal videos such as:
Team meetings
Recording of personnel interviews
Process recordings
Create Channels for different teams/groups/functions as needed
Team Sites can be archived and backed up.
Workflows and forms can be created in Team Sites.
Integrating various services you have access to as an individual.
Think IFTTT and Zapier.
Not exactly a replacement of InfoPath, but this is the new form solution from MS for many use cases
Kind of like IFTTT
Released late October 2016
Lots of services supported.
Kind of old now
Gives you info on the people and SharePoint sites I’m following
Enterprise Social.
Intra team communication.
Definitely an overall with Teams.
Discover connections and people you don’t know through the organization.
Power BI transforms your company's data into rich visuals for you to collect and organize so you can focus on what matters to you.
Templates for various things available such as:
How is Office 365 adoption in my tenant?
What are the sales figures for each office?
Choose the protections you want
Data protection solutions
Default protections already setup –
ex:
auditing data being accessed by your users.
You can turn off what you don’t want
Proactive notifications already setup – ex: someone got added as a tenant admin. When sensitive information like credit card info leaves the organization domain
‘What other customers like you are doing’ type of data
Things that are important to You gets surfaced up to you
