India has transformed into an attractive investment destination in the renewable energy
landscape with installed capacity witnessing strong growth in recent years. With the ongoing
government support such as the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission , the sector is expected
to continue the growth momentum going forward. Wind energy is expected to be the key driver of
overall renewable energy growth in the country as the new Indian government aims to add 10GW
of wind energy capacity annually.
