Educational Forums
Science and Information Conference 2015
July 28-30, 2015 | London UK
2. Fuzzy Model COPPE-COSENZA
Conclusion
Yes. It has been applied successfully in formative assessment. There are some
advantages with some restrictions .
Successful in Education? 4 study cases, here is the 2nd
case.
Successful in: Architecture, Medicine, Civil Engineering, Business
Administration, Regional Planning, Production Engineering.
9. Results (case 2)
• Students evaluate the messages from their peers more closely to the final grade.
• Social Learning: students could “learn by observing others” (BANDURA,1977)
• Scalability: virtual Operative Groups assessment using COPPE-Cosenza Fuzzy Model
can be a viable solution for distance education delivered to large classes divided in
groups that use the asynchronous communication to help groups in achieving a
proposed task, during a limited period.
