  2. 2. Objectives of the meeting<br />Evaluation of the work done until the moment.<br />Choosing the cover for the multimedia dictionary.<br />Planning further work: the quiz for the meeting in Madrid.<br />Organisation of the common blog (continued) <br />

  4. 4. Evaluation of the work done until the moment. (achievements/problems/ difficulties).<br />In all countries<br />The students made Christmas cards and sent them to the countries.<br />They made researches about the topics for the multimedia dictionary and organised the information. They chose pictures/photos and illustrated them with short sentences.<br />Some schools had difficulty in accessing the Internet. Sometimes the researches had to be made at home.<br /> Some of the topics are ready to be pasted in the blog.<br />The students also drew and painted the cover for the multimedia dictionary in the art classes.<br />
  5. 5. February /May 2010The Quiz<br />Building a quiz about the countries. Each country builds nine questions to be answered by the students in the final meeting.<br />The information must be pasted in the blog until the 15th April 2010. The answers must be multiple-choice (three answers a) b) c)). The cards will be A6 size and made by each partner. The answers must be in the back of the card. Each country takes the cards to the meeting in May.<br />
  6. 6. The multimedia dictionary<br />The students must have this question in mind:<br />What do you think is important to know about your country when tourists come to visit it?<br />

The multimedia dictionary<br />The idea of the multimedia dictionary is to have a kind of phrase book which can be of help to a foreigner visiting your country.<br />It should be divided into two parts:<br />1st part - general information about the country, culture, traditions, tourism, monuments and sightseeing, important information about public services, opening and closing times, food, nature, climate etc. <br />2nd part – language (2nd year of project)<br />
  8. 8. The multimedia dictionary<br />The dictionary will be in PowerPoint.<br />Photos in Jpeg format.<br /> Texts in Times New Roman 12 characters.<br /> Music recorded in MP3.<br /> Voice recorded using Audacity or Goldwave.<br /> Videos recorded in MP4 format.<br />
  9. 9. The multimedia dictionary<br />All the partners will make a Cd with the material (photos, sounds, videos) and take it to the meeting in Madrid in May. <br />Portugal will gather all the information for the multimedia dictionary. <br />The texts will be the ones which are in the blog. <br />
  10. 10. Communication among partners<br />There were some problems with communication among teachers.<br />Not to forget: the e-mails must be sent to everybody.<br />
