Honorable Prime Minister of India,
Under your leadership the Indian government has completed its first year in office, I
personally congratulate you on behalf of Ananda hi Ananda. I also send you and
other colleagues my warm wishes on Ganga Dussehra, a holy day remembered in
India of Maa Ganga as a decent from heaven to earth.
Every successful civilisation since the advent of human being has one thing in
common, that they have tried and been successful to give a wonderful life to their
villages and farmers. This is very important for any nation or civilisation to have
space for villagers and farmers, since the farmer produces grains to feed the
population, to provide a space for food sustainability and make nation rich with its
resources whereas villages protect and enrich art, culture, crafts, heritage, and
natural resources.
It has been very unfortunate for India that even after completing so many years of
Independence, our farmers and villagers are still living a life which can be
explained in only a single word "Misery".
They have been exploited for centuries; it’s a subject of grave concern for me
personally. The blame for the miseries of farmers cannot be put on the government

2. solely but also the citizens of India. The need of today is that the government of
India and Indian citizens should act together and free Indian villages from their
miseries. If Indian farmers and villagers would not find their life sustainable, I
doubt; India can ever become a model country.
I have been trying and putting efforts from spiritual arena to pave a way to free
Indian farmers and villagers from their miseries. I with many other people have
undertaken foot marches to reach Indian villages and farmers. We are going to
walk all over in India, to visit villages, to understand their problems firsthand. We
are not going to Indian villages by having some predated theories of their problem
but trying to learn and document their issues, thus we can send these details to
concerned departments. It is basically a grand foot march that will bring back a
detailed study of Indian villages.
During our first Foot march which was done in Yavatmal region in the month of
April we have found that the problems of villagers have never been understood.
They have some other problems but altogether different solutions are given; it’s
like one has a pain in the stomach but doctors have administered the drugs for
headache. This has done a great harm, stomach is still painful and on top of that
headache has started by administration of wrong drugs.
Ananda hi Ananda is a spiritual organisation and believes in dialogue and
collaborations; instead of harbouring thoughts of what has not been done or what
could have been done; we are thinking what we can do now. We are compiling a
detailed report of each and every district after having direct dialogues with farmers
and villagers for the government departments as eventually it would be the
government that has to take the right actions or steps. We as an individual and
citizen are doing what we can do best, we are introducing the nation with the real
problems of farmers and villagers and bringing the reality to the government
department, I hope government of India and other state governments will also do
their needful duties.
It’s most unfortunate for this country that till now villages and farmers have not
been considered as villagers and farmers, instead they were taken as numbers for
votes or have been advertised as backwards.
If we keep raising our hands in favour or in support of these practices and notions,
we would be doing one of the biggest harm to our nation, our culture, civilisation
and India’s existence. As long as Indian farmer and villagers will not have a good
life and as long as they are unable to do their work with pride and support from
every citizen of this country, I doubt that India's dream of becoming a great nation
would ever get fulfilled. You may have visited many countries and may have already
seen that each and every developed nation has a great farming community and
vibrant villages.

3. I am anticipating through this letter that this Mahaygana which is performed with
the help of different sections of society will also have the moral support of
Honourable Prime Minister and the government which is under your leadership as
well as other regional governments and the respective leaders. I am also
anticipating that when my kind of fakir is trying to learn and understand the
problem of villagers, of our farmers, government shall also try to understand their
real problems. I thank you on behalf of millions of farmers for launching Kisaan TV,
but still considerable work has to be done. The message of Indian government has
to reach from Gram Panchayat to block level.
India has had suffered long by a disease known as corruption, which has killed the
growth and development of villages, as the people living in rural heartland are
simple and most of the time unaware of their moral and legal rights.
I strongly believe that India's future exists in Indian rural heartland and only after its
ascent; Indian can take the ascent globally.
Wishes
Vivek ji
