3. Not getting caught
Don’t sell your stash unless you need $
If you do sell, only sell to a really close
person
Remember: the grower is not the dealer
4.
5. Seeds
Startwith 5 – 10 seeds, you will likely get a
few females. If you only have 1
female, clone it (take cuttings from
another mother plant)
Put the seeds in soil about ¼’’ down
Water well
Put a sheet of plastic over top until sprouts
pop through
6. Seeds (count.)
Take plastic off when you see them come
up
One seed per pot
Usually take 1 day to 2 weeks to sprout
7.
8. Room temp.
If possible, keep room temp about 18c
Before they come up, put seeds under
light so they can find their way up
The fluorescent lights should be about 4”
above seeds
When plants are a few inches tall lower
lights 2”
keep soil wet until they come up
9. Room temp (count.)
You can leave the lights on all the time or
set a timer for 18 hours on and 6 hours off
10.
11. Lights
Try to have 50watts per square foot
You'll need a timer for the lights
You’ll also need a moister meter to check out
humidity
You can control when to bring plants into
flowering period, simply change the time to
12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark
For those people who don’t have enough
space, try to keep it 100% dark if the lights are
out, otherwise you’ll tress your plants :(
12. There are 3 types of things you can use for
soil:
Regular soil at gardening places
Potting Soil
Or Fertilizer
PICK ONE!
13.
14. Soil
Go to the best garden supply store near
you
Ask for the best soil they have so you grow
the infamous “tomato” indoors
15.
16. Potting Soil
Good but may be too heavy
Get a bag of potting soil and mix with
equal parts of sand or perlite
Most potting soils will do but avoid ones
with clay in them
Fill up containers to top with potting soil
17.
18. Fertilizer
Very important if you want to grow indoors
Peters 20-20-20 is good
Follow directions and try not to over-fertilize
You can put fertilizer in the water you use to
water your plants
After the seeds are 3” tall let the fertilizer on
top dry out before you water them again
2 most common problems are over-fertilizing
and over-watering for beginners
19.
20. Containers
Should be around 1-6 gallons so the root
system gets all the space it needs
Use containers that have holes in the
bottom
You can buy clay or plastic containers
Clean containers when you get home
“bigger the container, bigger the plant”
21.
22. Air
This
is very important
Give your plants constantly fresh air
23.
24. Where can I buy seeds?
