As a foreigner without voting rights in the US it is not really my place to suggest a where here from now on, after the political earthquake that rocked the United States of America.
But as a political historian, development strategist and inclusive impact investing missionary, I would like to share my views with you.

Al, Bill and Hillary: Priming the Pump for #Inclusive Impact Investing
1. Al, Bill and Hillary
As a foreigner without voting rights in the US it is not really my place to suggest a where here from
now on, after the political earthquake that rocked the United States of America. But as a political
historian, development strategist and inclusive impact investing missionary, I would like to share my
views with you.

2. Al Gore lost the US presidency election, just like Hillary Clinton with more popular votes than the
necessary electors. In 2004 he founded an investment management enterprise Generation Investment
Management LLP nicknamed Blood & Gore after het CEO's. GIM AM is 'dedicated to long-term
investing, integrated sustainability research, and client alignment'.
Under Sustainability it reads 'What is clear to us and many others is that market capitalism has
arrived at a critical juncture. Even beyond the bailouts or short-term volatility, the challenges of the
climate crisis, water scarcity, income disparity, extreme poverty and disease must
command our urgent attention'
In 2015 GIM had close to 12billion US$ Asset under Management. In an interview with The Atlantic
Gore is portrayed as follows: 'Investment Secrets of Al Gore', The former vice president has led his
firm to financial success. But what he really wants to do is create a whole new version of capitalism.
Gore wanted to come out with their results after 5 years, but to build a solid trackrecord he was
convinced to wait another 5 years. Link: theAtlantic/the-planet-saving-capitalism-subverting-

Bill Clinton ended his second term as president and founded the Clinton Global Initiative in 2005.
It 'convenes global leaders to create and implement innovative solutions to the world's most pressing
challenges. CGI Annual Meetings have brought together 190 sitting and former heads of state, more
than 20 Nobel Prize laureates, and hundreds of leading CEOs, heads of foundations and NGOs, major
philanthropists, and members of the media.
To date, members of the CGI community have made more than 3,600 commitments which have
improved the lives of over 435 million people in more than 180 countries'.

3. Hillary Clinton unexpectedly and underservedly lost the election for the American presidency.
Which considering her qualifications is a serious setback as stability and world peace(ful co-existence)
are pre requisites for economic growth and development.
But she can now build on the fruits of labor of Al Gore that proved that long term investing in impact
corporations is financially attractive and comes with environmental and societal benefits.
And on the work of her husband proving that working with global leaders, hundreds of CEO's and non
profits (issue expertise and outreach) can improve almost 500 millions of lives. In less that 10 years.
Only the UN can claim such numbers.
To wrap it up: Al + Bill = more companies to invest in for impact.
Do you see the potential of this investment pipeline?
Note that Al invests for the wealthy and institutional investors such as our pension funds and
insurance companies etc.
And Bill works with global leaders for on a trickle down development strategy basis.
Working for and reaching people at the Base of the Pyramid and underserved people.
But Investing for Impact is becoming less exclusive daily, be it through funds, notes, fintech platform
or crowdfunding. We are talking as little as 10€ per month or 200€ investments.

4. So it would certainly help if SuperBrand Hillary Clinton leads the way by focusing her attention here.
And tap into the potential of inclusive impact investing, by mobilizing her 60million+ and global
supporters to Walk the Talk. Not just VOTE RIGHT, but DO RIGHT:
Invest in impact, i.e in corporations that work on solutions for societal challenges.
Al + Bill + Hill = profitable investing + impact corporations + millions of small investors
=> huge acceleration of impact investing.
Or to freely quote the famous Dutch soccer coach Louis van Gaal
'Am I suffering from serious tunnelvision? or are you guys to blinded by defeat.....'
PS I made a tweet bet that Barack Obama's post presidency career is going to focus on Silicon Valley
and the potential of impact accelerators (big & smart data, the internet of things, connectivity, fintech,
robotics, 3d printing, green clean tech etc.) He started with crowdsourcing: https://www.obama.org
