1. One day, a group of 5th grade girls were at recess deciding
what to play.

2. Suddenly Rica spoke up, “Lets play Freeze Tag. “. But
Thembi had something else in mind, “NO! I want to
play Stuck in the Mud, it’s more fun.”

3. “Why??! We always have to listen to you!” Rica
spoke rudely.

4. Surprisingly they started to fight and yell about what

10. But the other two girls were
really happy. When they
saw Rica and Thembi, they
rushed over. “Are you guys
OK?” said Tina. “We
thought that you guys
would apologize and come
and play with us.” Zimei
said. “ And beside, we
played three whole different
games.” Zimei continued as
they walked up the stairs.

11. Rica an Thembi still couldn’t forgive each other. For the rest
of the day they were so quiet.
