A Mouse Made Just for You Will be Your Medical Avatar:
When you check into a hospital in the future, doctors may assign you a per-
sonal mouse along with checking your vitals and ordering a blood panel. Physi-
cians would try out different cocktails of drugs on the mouse avatar after receiv-
ing a transplant of the assigned patient’s tissue (which allows it to mimic their
immune system) in order to see what works best for him or her.

The Complete History of Art References in Woody Allen Films:
Director Woody Allen has not been shy about disclosing his philosophy
about many things. His movies pay homage to the beauty of location and
display many of his musical preferences. Whether setting scenes in his char-
acters’ homes or the ever-changing tone in their lives, there’s no denying
that art plays a big role in his life onscreen as well. You’ll remember how art
heavy recent films like Midnight in Paris and Vicki Christina Barcelona were,
but you’ll probably be surprised at what other references Allen has pulled
over the years.

The United States Has More Than 3 Million Green Jobs:
“Green jobs” are notoriously difficult to count or even define. Few jobs re-
quire all-day dedication to saving the planet, and plenty of companies doing
important environmental work also spend time on plenty of projects that don’t
fall under that rubric. Last week, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, an indepen-
dent government agency, announced its green jobs number for last year: 3. 1
million.
