Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, MY1STORY, Classics for the 21st Century.I admireWalt Disney for many reasons, and one of those is how he was able to take stories that had been around for hundreds of years, adapt them and make them his own, and not just in his eyes, but in the eyes of the public.which is the basis for what My1story has done. We took stories that have fallen out of favor, that were somewhat out of touch with contemporary times, adapted and refreshed them.
NOW Let’s meet our characters.
We have Lil’ Riding Hood and Wolfie.
Jack, Beanie and Beanie’s plush toy, Goosy.
Goldie and the Teddy Bears.
Humpty and his trusty friend, Diego.
The 3 Lil’ Pigs and Harry.

If you recall, I earlier said that we’d taken a cue from Walt Disney to adapt and refresh many timeless classics.But we didn’t stop there.In order to create true ownership of these characters, we decided to extend the life of these characters and create new stories based on the following attributes.
Goldie is a very creative little girl. She has such a vivid imagination that she’s even been able to bring her best friends, the teddy bears, to life. Whether they’re searching for buried treasures, or traveling to outer space, there’s no limit to the amazing journeys that her imagination will take Goldie and her 3 little friends.
Jack and Beanie, two adventurous kids with oversized curiosities.One beanstalk brought them together, and now with hundreds of beanstalks to climb Jack & Beanie are up to the task to explore these different new worlds…
Ahh Harry, being raised by wolves was ‘ruff’. He’s just an oversized pup who always seems to get himself into trouble.Fortunately for him, he’s made friends with these 3 Lil’ Pigs. While he’s not the most ‘socially correct’ wolf on the block, he’s a loyal and trusting friend that isn’t short on teaching a lesson or two of his own.
Through the woods they go…. On their way to… well that’s what we’ll find out.You see, the woods are full of fascinating things, and surely LRH and Wolfie will come upon a challenge that need’s to be solved.Good thing for them, LRH’s basket is well equipped with everything they need to solve the day’s problem ( akin to Mary Poppins, Nanny McFee, or Felix the Cat).
All the King’s horsemen and all the King’s menput Diego in charge of making sure Humpty doesn’t get into trouble again. Yes poor little Diego, as an aspiring knight he has a big responsibility : take care of clumsy and forgetful Humpty.Over time this chore turns into a friendship that is hard to break.
Through My1STORY’s characters and stories we wish to enhance the following skills:Almost every child is born with an untamed imagination. The most unique characteristic of imaginary play is the fact that it stimulates a variety of learning behaviors. Using such seemingly common methods of play is actually a way for children to exercise their knowledge of the world around them and develop skills in:Disney researchers talked with preschool and kindergarten teachers and found that kids lagged in Social skills (sharing , being a good listener).
In closing…. My1STory can be a powerful entry point for the entire Playskool brand as well as Provide significant revenue opportunities for Hasbro CPG and its Entertainment arm
