Because adjustable beds are different, they require a different type of spring bed mattress. This is because traditional mattresses use an hourglass spring that cause friction inside the mattress when it moves. But the Hinge-Flex Mattress is different. In this presentation we'll discuss what makes the Hinge-Flex Mattress the ideal mattress for adjustable beds.
2. Adjustable Beds Are Different
Most inner-spring mattress coils use Bonnell hourglass
shaped coils, which do not allow for movement.
While these coils may be fine for flat beds, they
cause friction inside adjustable beds because they
collapse into one another when the bed moves.
This is why most spring mattresses wear out so quickly
on adjustable beds.

quilted panel, over a 1½” layer of medium-firm foam, ideal
