Change The World - By Sikhcess®

Hello! Thanks for joining us! Today, we’ve got some great stuff for you to see and listen to. There’s clearly something electric in the presentation you’re about to watch. But first, let me ask you a question. If you could change the world in the most profound way, to make it a better place, how would you change it? What would you do? Today, Sikhcess is going to reveal JUST HOW we can change the world – together – to make it a better place! I’ve got four things, I’d like to talk with you about today. So let’s get started!

The first thing is a bit about an organization I volunteer with, called Sikhcess. Well, what IS Sikhcess? Sikhcess is a world-wide community service organization. Sikhcess is dedicated to enriching people's lives through regular, sustained, and meaningful volunteer service - and we do that across four continents, in over 70 cities around the globe! Our work is based on the basic humanitarian principles of sharing, inclusiveness, community, and public service. We believe that each of one of our volunteers has the ability and can be effective in transforming and enriching the communities in which we live. We also believe in being entirely volunteer based, nobody gets paid or earns a salary! Recently, Sikhcess was voted amongst the top 100 non-profit organizations in the United States. So That’s Sikhcess, and that’s the first thing I wanted to share with you today.

The next item is an EXTRAORDINARY idea that Sikhcess JUST came up with! That idea is to give the world a chance against some of the most serious issues that we face today: war, gangs, drugs, aids, ignorance, and hate. We’ve come up with a way to do this in a VERY cool way! Through children! Our goal is to give the world's children the confidence, knowledge, and ability to make positive choices. Think about how awesome this is! We have the immense opportunity to provide the future leaders of the world with the ability and desire to help themselves and others, and to make productive contributions for our world! The chance that exists is to unite the world's children through the spirit of global synergy, and to engage them with world-class education taught by the best teachers and role models. We'll provide children advanced digital technology and teach them how to use it; we'll enable those kids to teach others around the world, with culturally-rich interaction. And that takes us to our next point – only YOU have the power to make this possible! We've been given the chance to win a $1 million grant from Chase Bank, and to capture the world’s attention! This is entirely possible – and it’s entirely based upon 'fan votes' on Facebook. And from this point forward, I’ll share with you some cutting edge marketing material – tools that each person who is watching this presentation has available to them. I’m also going to talk with you like we’re part of the same team – after all – if this awesome idea is going to come to fruition, WE must work together! SO – right now there are A LOT of people who are currently on Facebook - chatting, tagging, and stalking each other. Facebook is global, and is growing by about 3% every week. That number is STAGGERING. There are so many people on Facebook infact, according to Mark Zuckerberg, if Facebook were a country, it would be the 8 th most populated in the world, just ahead of Japan! So today, we are talking with you to tap into that global market. To get that chance, to get that opportunity, TOGETHER - we'll have to capture the attention of Facebook users from around the world - and ask for their support by voting for Sikhcess!

Already, celebrities have offered video endorsements to support this cause, and that same invitation is extended to you. To do this, take a moment to consider this question - “if your friend were to ask why you believe in this idea, what would you say?” My answer, and feel free to use this, is to say: Hi, I’m Amit Singh, and I support Sikhcess. I believe that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things. I also believe that the walls between what is impossible and what we can achieve exists only in our minds. AND – now to talk about something very exciting – VIRAL MARKETING! Believe it or not, YOU have the power to inspire others to take action – by telling your story with passion, you can INSPIRE your friends, and INSPIRE the world by GIVING THEM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT! The secret is to stop thinking “campaigns”, and start thinking “conversations”. Those celebrities we talked about a moment ago – well – they , and a few other people are creating short movies of themselves, right at home, by using their webcams, and uploading them to Facebook and YouTube. Does it really make a difference? YES! Take for instance the number of active supporters for President Barack Obama – there are about 5,000,000 of them. Then think about the number of VIEWS of Obama’s famous “YES WE CAN” video on YouTube. Currently, that number is at about 20,000,000! We can Change the World with that very same strategy – by many of us working together to share a story with the world – to inspire the world! Yes We Can!

Viral Marketing – A strategy that encourages people to pass on a marketing message or an idea to others. When successful, this leads to exponential growth in that message’s exposure and influence. It all starts with you, passing this message, to go to Facebook and to vote for Sikhcess to two other people, ensuring that (first) they vote, and (second), they this same message to someone else. When they do that same process, take the message to two, automatically it’s doubled to four other people, and before you know it, you’re in the tens of thousands of votes!

There are multiple mechanisms that anyone can use to send a message – amongst them are Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. You can also leave comments and posts on the Sikhcess Website. You can reach out to the media and press to spread a ‘buzz’, or even discuss it with your family at the dinner table. We encourage you to do all of this – BUT – there is nothing quite so powerful in this context as FACEBOOK!

Which takes us to our next item. We’re asking you to donate an hour hour of your time on Facebook. Facebook Chat is an instant-messaging platform where you can achieve REMARKABLE results. On average, we’ve found that for every 1 hours time that a person puts into chatting on Facebook Chat, they are able to achieve 30 – 50 votes- just by messaging their friends! The key here is in asking your friends to support a non-profit and a cause that you believe in, and with just a few clicks of their mouse, they can make a difference! The link they should go to is http://vote.sikhcess.org. If one person can get up to 50 votes per hour, 24 people can get 1,200 votes in a day! Now, this presentation will reach 5,000 or more people immediately. There’s a good chance that many of you will be too busy, or have too much going on to do this. But I’d like you to imagine for just a few moments, that only HALF of the people who receive this say “Yes, I will donate an hour of my time”. That’s 2,500 people who, conservatively, can get 30 votes each. This comes to 75,000 VOTES! The power we have UNITED and WORKING TOGETHER is truly remarkable! We also ask that you also ask five of your closest friends or family, someone you trust and can rely upon to do the exact same. If you believe in the cause, they’ll feel your passion, and when you ask them, have the confidence to know that they will say Yes! The opportunity lies before us to capture the world’s attention, to show the world that there is a group of believers, and that they too, can and should believe in something greater than any one of us – something greater than all of us together, even – that something is our children – the and giving the future leaders of this world the VERY BEST. Right now, we have the ability to give children living in slums, inner cities, war-torn countries, and in radical nations who breed hate, ignorance, and terror. We also can give children in our own neighborhoods that same thing - something that they wouldn’t have had, if not for your time, your 1 hour of volunteering. A humanitarian value set. A global awareness. And a way to communicate with, learn from, and inspire other children around the world. Working together, we can, as a group of dedicated passionate volunteers have immense power. We have power in numbers, we have power in diversity, we have power in vision, and we have power in hope! We have the power to change the world.
