Compromised Quality, Jan 12 ,2010
Garrett J. Schwehr
Bought this one new from Amazon. This laptop performs remarkably well for running high graphics video games, but the speakers are low quality and crackle even at
medium volumes. There is also an issue where the display does not turn on, and takes a few attempts at restarting using the power button to get it to turn on; it does
not CONSISTENTLY do this (happens two times out of every ten times turned on), which portrays that the manufacturers cheaped out and saved some money on
parts that would not be detectable or defective enough for consumers to be able to use their flimsy warrantee. It does work, but it is both highly disappointing and
annoying.
My 2 star rating reflects a warning to others who wish to spend a high amount money on a machine that is quality enough to be worth the four-digit funds spent for it.
Absolutely ridiculous.
