- Script: Hi, and welcome to the webinar on Flipkart Advantage Creating and Scheduling Consignments and tracking your FA inventory. I am (your name and department) …. and I will be taking you through this webinar. Before we begin, let me highlight some guidelines to improve your webinar experience. Please use earphones/headphones for better audio clarity. Please post your queries on the right-side panel as Comments, and we will answer as many as we can through the session. If we cannot answer all the queries, we will compile them and send the answer as a follow-up. Do change the screen resolution to 480 px. for better clarity. Don’t refresh the screen continuously as it might take some time to buffer.
- Script: Are you one of those sellers who worry about the loss of business while waiting for your products to be marked as FA? Do you find the process of creating a consignment time-consuming? Are you having difficulty in tracking your consignment inwarding process? Wouldn’t it make your life easier if you could track your FA inventory for orders, returns, and recalls? Some of our sellers have shared concerns about better clarity on quality check and easier access to reports. Do you also fall into a waiting period of 5-7 days to inward your product after you have marked your consignment as FA in a stock file? To address all these concerns, we have introduced some new, easy-to-use features under the FA Services tab.
- Script: In this webinar, we’ll discuss the new features of the FA Services tab. We’ll go through the steps to creating consignments under the new FA Services tab. Under Create Consignments, we’ll see how you can continue to sell your non-FA products marked as FA while they are getting inwarded to the fulfilment centre. The Tracking and Generating Reports section will tell you how you can track your FA inventories better and get better control and visibility over your inventories. Along with this, you’ll see how you can get better clarity on the quality check process and generate reports easily. Scheduling Consignments is an upcoming feature, which will give you better control over your consignment drop schedules. This topic will be discussed in detail during an upcoming webinar.
- Script: Until now, you had to mark your listings as FA under the Listings tab.
- Script: Then, you had to select the FA Services tab to add the listings to a consignment.
- Script: This meant repetition of work for you. Moreover, once your products got marked as FA, you couldn’t sell them till the time they got inwarded to the Fulfilment Centre.
- Script: With the new features of the FA Services tab, you can mark reduce repetition and streamline the creation of consignment in a single flow. You can also completely eliminate the wait-time while marking your listings as FA. These new features will also let you schedule the date and time for dropping your consignments directly from the seller portal. Let’s take a look at how these features can make listing and scheduling your FA products easier and faster.
- Script: The FA Products sub-tab is now Create Consignment. With this new feature, you don’t need to mark your listings in the stock file as ‘FA’. Your listings will get automatically marked as FA after being inwarded into the Fulfilment Centre. Under the Create Consignment sub-tab, all your active listings appear. You can directly select listings to ‘create consignment’ even if they have not been marked as FA.
- Script: By clicking on the Download Active Listings button, you can download an excel with all the active listings to create a consignment in bulk. This excel will list all active listings, irrespective of whether they are marked as FA or not. We will take a look at this excel later on in this session. The best part about this feature is that you can create a consignment even if listings are not marked as FA, which means, no wait time, or loss of business during this time.
- Script: We have also added this Search field. Here, you can search for an active listing using the SKU or FSN without having to scroll through the pages.
- Script: To create a consignment using the new Create Consignment sub-tab, first click on it.
- Script: Click on Add to consignment to add a particular product to the consignment.
- Script: Add the number of units that you want to send here.
- Script: You need to add the Insurance value here.
- Script: Click on the Save button here to add the consignment.
- Script: Once your consignment has been successfully added, you will see a Success Message displayed here.
- Script: What more, We have now made it easy for you to add products in bulk to a consignment. To do this, you need to click on the Download Active Listings button. This will download an excel with a list of all your active listings.
- Script: The downloaded excel with your active listings looks like this. On this, you can update your Insurance value and number of units here.
- Script: To upload the updated Active Listings excel sheet, click on this Upload Consignment button.
- Script: To add a non-FA product to the consignment, click on the Add to consignment link.
- Script: This message appears informing that this product is listed under Non-FA and will be listed under FA after it gets inwarded to store.
- Script: Enter the quantity of units that you want to add and enter the insurance value here.
- Script: Click on the Save button to add to consignment.
- Script: This message link Stop selling this SKU on FA only appears when a product is listed under FA.
- Script: After completing the required steps to add listings to a consignment, click on the Create Consignment button to add the consignment to queue.
- Script: This pop-up that displays to confirm all the listings that you have added to the consignment. Click on the Add to Consignment Queue button to confirm and add this consignment to Consignment Queue.
- Script: Now that we have seen how to create a consignment using the new Create Consignment sub-tab, let’s take a look at scheduling our consignments on the Seller Portal instead of depending on Seller Support.
- Script: By clicking on the Consignment ID, you can get: Complete tracking and transparency on the dropped consignment Complete details on the dropped consignments Let’s see how.
- Script: Let’s take a look at the new features on the Consignment Queue sub-tab. Under the Quantity Sent/Received header, you can see the received quantity with the quantity that you have committed to send.
- Script: The QC Complete/QC in process header lets you track the status of the quality check in Real-time out of the units received at the fulfilment centre.
- Script: If you look at the example on the screen, out of the 20 units received, 5 units are QC passed, 4 units have been QC failed, and 11 units are under QC process.
- Script: The Inwarded to Store title shows all the QC-passed units that are being processed for inwarding into store as units that are available for sale on Flipkart.com. You must keep in mind that the inwarding may not reflect immediately on the portal. For example, if 5 units are QC passed here, those 5 units are ‘inwarded to store’. And QC tickets are still pending for 11 units. As the QC gets completed, the number of QC-passed units under the ‘Inwarded to Store’ header will accordingly increase. These new features provide you with improved tracking of your consignment inwarding process.
- Script: Once an item is inwarded to the Fulfilment Centre, a quality check is done to identify if there are any quality issues with the product. If any issues are identified, they are captured as a ticket in the Fulfilment Centre. These tickets are called QC tickets. With this new quality check feature, you can: View and download all QC rejected tickets. Get better transparency on the quality checks of your consignments. Let’s discuss this in detail.
- Script: Looking at the example again, you can see under the QC Complete and QC In process title heads that out of the 20 units received, 5 units have been QC passed, 4 units have been QC failed, and 11 units are under QC process.
- Script: By clicking the View All QC Tickets link, you can view all the rejected and pending QC tickets along with the reasons.
- Script: Something like this.
- Script: The Download QC Tickets link helps you download all the rejected and pending QC tickets along with the reasons.
- Script: This excel contains information on all the rejected and pending QC tickets along with the reasons. If a QC ticket is captured with a ‘New’ or ‘Awaiting Clarification’ status, you need to provide a clarification and/or further course of action. After the required corrective action is taken on the QC issue, you can contact Seller Support to request for another quality check on the relevant units.
- Script: The new FA inventory features help you track: The number of units being processed for orders Number of units that can be recalled Number of units that have been recalled Number of units that have been packed and are ready to be dispatched Returns QC Rejects We’ll now discuss these in detail.
- Script: You can view details like your Selling Price, number of units Available to Sell, number of units that are Reserved, Unsellable units, and break-up on the Work in Progress units here.
- Script: When you click on the Unsellable Inventory section, you can view details about the QC Rejects, Returns, and Recalling All Unsellable Items. Now, we’ll discuss what information each of these headers provide you.
- Script: The QC Rejects header shows the number of units of an SKU that have been rejected during QC and hence are unsellable.
- Script: Under the Returns header, you can see the units of this SKU that have been returned by buyer and have been quality checked by the Fulfilment Centre and are now ready to be recalled.
- Script: When you click on the Recall All Unsellable Items button, you can recall all unsellable items in bulk.
- Script: Now, you can easily access reports through this drop-down under the Reports tab.
- Script: To request for a Report, select the report type under the Select Report drop-down menu.
- Script: Select the Date Range as required. While entering the Date Range, keep in mind that the invoice date range can be a maximum of 30 days. You can generate multiple reports though.
- Script: Click on the Request Report button.
- Script: The Success message on the top-right will indicate that your request for report has been successful and that the report is getting generated.
- Script: Once the status of the requested report appears as ‘Download’, the report is ready to be downloaded. Sometimes, you might need to refresh the page for the status to be updated.
- Script: With these new features that we have discussed in this webinar, you have seen how you can continue to sell your non-FA products while waiting for them to be marked as FA. These features make it easy and faster for you to create your consignments. You can easily track your consignments and inventory on the FA Services tab and you can access details on the QC process as well as download required reports without a hassle. What’s best is that with the new feature, you can schedule your consignment drops online without having to call Seller Support.
