· Locate the Curriculum Materials within Kelsey Elementary School.
Accessthe Virtual School Portal from your student website. Enter Kelsey Elementary School. Under
the Teacher Information section, select Curriculum Materials.
· Evaluateone lesson plan for each grade level at Kelsey Elementary School using University of
Phoenix Material: Evaluation Matrix.
· Chooseone of the mediocre or good lesson plans from the evaluation matrix to redesign.
· Redesignthe lesson plan based on principles that have been covered up to this point in the course to
turn the mediocre or good lesson plan into an exemplary lesson plan.
Createa graphic organizer or concept map to include within the lesson plan. You may use a graphic
organizer or concept map template from the Internet or create an original.
Summarize the major changes you made to the lesson plan and explain why you made them. Insert this
summary at the beginning of your redesigned lesson plan.
· Submit your lesson plan evaluations and redesigned lesson plan to the Assignment Link. One team
member will also need to post a copy of this activity to the Thread in the Main forum. Give your
thoughts to the other team’s posts.
