A basic and practical workshop introducing you to blogging in the classroom to
communicate between home and school and to give students opportunities to
share their learning with a wider audience. View some class blogs from Point
View School, and follow easy step by step instructions to set up your own class
blog ready for the beginning of Term 3!

A practical workshop that explores how this program works and how it can be
used in your classroom.

Learn about how to use garageband to create podcasts.

Using Blogger to display student work. This workshop could involve going over t
he process of setting up blogs for everyone in the class and showing how to ma
nage these. I use this in conjunction with Google Docs. This is a free way for te
achers to display work online. And kids are really into it.
5. Photography - Photos in learning and iphoto manipulation: Cheryl / Steve
Using photographs in the classroom to enhance learning for ESOL students.
Creating your own photo resources. Using iPhoto.
6. Interactive Learning: Ruth
In this workshop we will explore using an interactive whiteboard for implementin
g the numeracy project and other strands of mathematics. We will look at practi
cal examples from a Year 4/5 class and discuss impacts on teaching and learnin
g in the classroom. You will leave with some easy ideas to increase the interacti
vity of your numeracy programme.

Use this workshop to work on your own eLearning journey with others doing the
same. Build your wiki, improve your space on knowledgenet, build your
delicious account, develop your learning pathway or follow your current passion.
