Our Mission:
We assist with achieving positive change in the lives of Aboriginal people in Canada by being close
professional advisors to individuals in organizations that manage and direct development within First
Nation, Métis and Inuit communities.
Our Commitment:
•  MNP believes in the potential and opportunities that exist in Aboriginal communities, which is
evidenced by our commitment over the past 25 years.
•  MNP supports Aboriginal communities and organizations throughout Canada by donating,
volunteering and mentoring. We have often become a part of the communities we serve.
•  Our organization provides Aboriginal AwarenessTraining to new MNP team members to ensure
that they understand the uniqueness and spirituality of the culture.
•  Our Aboriginal Services team members belong to a host of Aboriginal organizations, including
AFOA and CANDO. Committed to serving the Aboriginal community, several of our team
members are also Certified Aboriginal Financial Managers (CAFM) and/or Certified Professional
Aboriginal Economic Developers (PAED).
•  We provide a complete range of services, which we are continually refining and expanding to
meet current demands.
•  MNP continues to grow the number of Aboriginal people within our workforce to better reflect

Our experience is extensive and continuously growing, along with our reputation as a firm that respects
Aboriginal culture, governance and business. We continue to foster a strong Aboriginal Services team of
specialists who understand your needs and how to develop viable solutions in complex circumstances
that sometimes exist exclusively within the Aboriginal environment.
MNP also understands how to work within the reporting requirements mandated by various regulatory
environments such as Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC), Canada Mortgage
and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Health Canada, provincial governments and the newly required
Public Sector Accounting Board standards (PSAB). We also have solid professional relationships and
significant hands-on knowledge of unique factors from working with economic development entities,
developing taxation strategies, trusts, settlements and claims, resource development, capacity building,
managing capital projects, procurement and a host of other opportunities and challenges within the
Aboriginal communities we serve.
