4. The solution - Lokko
• Aiming to decrease the direct cost by aggregating multiple delivery
resources and achieving higher density of couriers per a specific area.
• Aiming to decrease the indirect cost by eliminating the need for dispatch
operators and the related expenses.
• Providing a direct connection between sender, courier and recipient of the
shipment, thus connecting them in real-time using various channels (phone,
messaging, location, etc)
• Providing analytics data and control over the quality and parameters of the
deliveries, ensuring that restaurants, aggregators and even customers can
monitor the delivery in real-time.

• Developed in 2014 by an experienced team with strong entrepreneurial,
managerial, courier operations and IT background.
• Lokko also provides an end-user mobile application that enables customers
to create new orders or easily track the existing ones.
• Implemented in several cities in Romania in partnership with courier
companies or individual independent contractors.
• Validated by the local market, with potential/intention to be expanded
abroad. The solution is fully localized and can be deployed in multiple
languages and countries.

7. Workflow
1. Orders are generated by clients and eventually forwarded by the order
aggregator to the restaurant. After the restaurant confirms the order, the order
aggregator or the restaurant send it to Lokko in order to find a courier.
2. The couriers near the location are notified and the bidding for the order is
opened. A courier is finally selected and the data about him and the pick-up and
delivery time is sent to the restaurant, the end-client and the order aggregator.
3. The application can manage an eventual purchase in the name of the customer
(courier pays the order at the restaurant).
4. All the parties involved can monitor and track the delivery progress and are able
to communicate with the courier. After the order is delivered, the client can rate the
courier for his services.
5. Lokko provides information about the pick-up and the delivery actions in real
time. These data can also contain the Proof of Delivery (PoD) that consist in: client’s
signature, package photo and possible observations.

9. Integration
• Lokko provides multiple integration methods: mail parsing, API and
a web-based interface.
• The simplest solution for an order aggregator is to forward all the
order confirmation mails to Lokko and our system will generate
shipments for them.
• Restaurants and order aggregators can also integrate the full
extended API and monitor order statuses and actions using the web-based
backend.
