Each business must define a revenue model to generate money, unlike a business model which focuses on customer value. A revenue model is described by the number of potential revenue streams, which may be limited by the company's activities, the number of revenue streams the company has defined, and the potential number of customers. Common revenue models include uni-stream, multiple streams, interdependent, and "lost leader".
