Arguably, or perhaps enlighteningly,
being a great leader is operating in cosmic consciousness.
What the heck is cosmic consciousness???
Someone who uses full brain potential; someone who
has the calmness of rest while matched with the dynamism
of dramatic activity.
What’s the differences between Brain
Consciousness and Being a Great Leader ?
Traits of being a great leader:
Focus, Consistency, Open Mindedness, Approachable,
Confident, Using Creative Intelligence, Being Presence,
Responsibility,
Setting an Example, and perhaps Shinning Charisma.
2. But are there underlying qualities at the root
of all these traits???
Leaders lead through how they see the world.
The world is perceived through perception
of concrete experience. It’s in the back of the brain where the
perception of concrete experience is plastered up like onto a movie
screen. The perception then has to be brought to the front front of the
brain where the thinking and reaction is done. This is where the CEO
lives inside you, so to speak.
The HIgh Road through your brings content while the Low Road is
where emotions stem from.
Your perception leads to
your ability to be purposeful, charismatic
When you don’t have enough information from the high road you fill in
information.
For example how many people have mistaken a rope or a twig for a
snake just because they didnt’ get a clear enough picture of it???
What happens is there’s not enough information running along the
high road of your brain to your frontal cortex for you to make a
decision so it dips down into the emotions of the low road and you
respond accordingly.
3. The truth is… Leaders have to make decisions all the time without
enough information.
Consider what happens with intergroup competitions, like soccer and
baseball.
Failure of a person on your team activates the
Anterior insula — this triggers a helping behavior. You go “Oh no! Is
he all right, and you feel the pain. And you worry if he’ll be able to play
more.”
Failure of a person on the other side of the team triggers a different
response, the limic system acts up. “One could go as far to get
excited and think oh yeah, don’t have to worry about that person for
the rest of the season”
The same is true for political parties.
Republican and Democrats
… when Republican says a rational point
CEO lights up.
and the Limbic system gets angry in Democrat.
This plays a big part in
Racial Profiling as well.
4. Policemen will most often see a youth of color pull a gun from their
coat; and a white youth pull an iPod from their pocket.
Insufficient info leads to the low road …
Leaders must work with incomplete information
so what can you do???
Experience changes the
brain…
That’s the answer.
Seek more expanded experiences.
If the brain is creating how we see the world
and those experiences are shaping our perception
than more experiences will change our perceptions.
Your brain is a river not a rock
70% of your brain changes every day
The Emp0wer Netw0rk will change your brain.

5. Increase Myelination in frontal executive circuits.
Myelin increases when you study.
Stress turns off the CEO of the brain.
1. You face a Challenge.
2. You Stress Out!
When the challenge gets too high the CEO actually turns off and you
respond superficially.
A child lives in the back part of the brain, so to speak. Until children
reach about 15 they can’t quite reach the decision making capabilities
of the frontal lobe.
Long term effects of Stress take a toll on working memory.
The effects of stress actually effects DNA.
Chemical groups are wound around the gene when stressed.
A loving mother can off set and heal this.
Meditation experiences help
buffer effects of stress.
Meditation creates High level cognitive control and Focused
Attention.
6. Mediation techniques can be classified into three different categories
depending on what type of frequency your brain waves are
functioning at. The finer the frequency the more Brain Consciousness
one will have and will be more apt to make better decisions under
stress.
The First level is Gamma
Meditation techniques that reach this level according to E.E.G.
monitors are
Zen, Compassion Meditation, Qigong (concentration), Diamond Way,
& Buddhism.
Mid level Open monitoring is Theta
Zazen, Vipassana, Saharaj, Qigong (meditation), Kriya Yoga
Lowest or the finest level of brain
wave frequency you can reach is –
Alpha1
Automatic self-transcending.

Main Point
7. Your brain is the link between you and the world.
Brain circuits determine how you see the world,
and respond in any situation.
Transcending cultivates greater integration of brain circuits so that,
as a leader, you will be able to more accurately evaluate
the world and so make better decisions.
I’ve been practicing the Transcendental Meditation Technique my
whole life.
Now what I’m doing with this Brain Consciousness is I’m reaching
out to people, business, entrepreneurs, and creatives around the
