Setting up your
Online Job Interview Space
Imagine life at your dream job. Dressing for success
also includes preparing your meeting space.
Using a Backdrop or Solid Color Wall
Set up your webcam or computer with built-in web cam with a good view of yourself
and a solid color backdrop. Blue or Grey is preferrable.
Light your face and if possible your backing wall
Using natural light can be great. Just make sure to adjust lighting as needed. Personal
webcam lights are available and work well when overhead lighting is dimmed. Using
only overhead lighting can create shadows on your face.
Clean your Presentation Area
Make sure your background and table area are clean. Do not allow for unwanted
distractions to be present in the webcam background.
