The Challenge:
With an entrepreneurial spirit and an aggressive business plan, Free Flow wines
started with a clean sheet for the IT systems. However, they were bringing a
revolution to the wine industry, by distributing wine via a returnable keg. With
their projected customer growth they knew they needed a scalable system. The
specific issues they faced were:
 How to track & control the movement of thousands of expensive
kegs, which when empty must be returned, cleaned and re-used
 Minimize any manual efforts to ensure no bottlenecks as their
growth exploded
 Ensure visibility to their customers and partner wine growers,
providing the best possible customer experience
The Solution:
With no legacy system and a revolutionary supply chain for their industry, Free
Flow Wines selected NetSuite and OzLINK. The cloud architecture of the
solution was key in providing the visibility, scalability, and automation they
needed. With their growth they now have 120 wine growing partners, 350 SKUs,
serving 43 states and 260 distributors. Without the NetSuite/OzLINK solution,
this growth would not have been impossible. The results include:
 Kegs are scanned at order, cleaning, when they are filled, shipped, and
returned, ensuring they know where their 85,000 kegs are
 Fulfillment is integrated real-time with NetSuite using mobile bar code
scanning. Improving accuracy, and minimizing warehouse costs
 The warehouse integration with NetSuite allows for “hands-free” billing,
 increasing accuracy and customer service, and cash flow
