1. OCP Structure The Open City Portal is a multifunctional tool, from which  many types of information and communication tools  are accessed.  For  each service category , such as Primary Schools or Health Care for the Elderly, there is up to  13 "Forums"  which provides  different types of information or functions  regarding to the service category.  ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Subcategories or forums in each service category ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Discussion space
All Forums in one category can be  viewed at a glance  in the "Category Homepage”.

2. OCP Subcategories ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Basic Facts forum Events forum Events forum will provide  events information  related to the service categories, either  from the city council or from citizens . Therefore, citizens will be informed about what is taking place in their communities and activities will benefit from a higher participation.
2. OCP Subcategories E-Community Forum is a  space for interactive discussion among citizens. Citizens can ask  questions , make a  complaint  on the services, and state their  opinions  on policy issues.  The Open City Portal will  forward  such citizen's queries and opinions  to the city council officials  in charge of the matter so that citizens can have a response within certain days. E-community forum Organization / Contacts forum Open City Portal provides the  summary and   contact information of organizations providing municipal services .  For example, in "Primary Education" category, all elementary schools and related government service offices are listed.  Each organization provides the information related to its services and contact information: contact person(s), and telephones FAX and email addresses, map and direction for the location, office hours, and if applicable admission criteria, etc.
2. OCP Subcategories Goals / Activities forum provides information about the ongoing activities, programs, etc related to the service categories, either from the city council or from citizens.  Characteristics such as the venue, organizing institution, responsible person, timetable, etc are showed on the portal to keep citizens informed.  Goals / Ativities forum Policy diagnosis forum Policy Diagnosis Forum is the opinion polls concerning the city policies asking for general public. Citizens can express here their opinion and suggest new ideas to the Government administrations.  This space can also be used to sound out the general opinion about a new issue the Government wants to face.
2. OCP Subcategories Funding forum puts in contact both people with ideas and projects and investors with money.  The type of investor can be: angel investor, venture capitalist or commercial banker.  Funding forum Online application forum Online Application Forum is a space where entrepreneurs can detail and show their ideas and projects to look for partners and investors.  Business Partners forum Business Partners Forum provides a space where entrepreneurs ideas and projects are shown to people interested in taking part on them as business partners.  In this way a dialogue between the entrepreneurs and the business partners is established. The type of contributor might be: central or municipal government official, civil society, NGO, academic institution, employee of private company, entrepreneur, professional practitioner, creative business or others.

OCP Subcategories Case Studies forum ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Resource Persons forum Resource Person Forum offers the  personal contact information of experts and consultants  who will provide a  specialist's advice  to the citizens on the voluntary basis.
2. OCP Subcategories Downloads forum Best Websites forum Best Sites forum provides the links to useful web-based resources.  These links are supposed to be related to the municipality but they can be links to other sites as well.  Statistics Forum does not appear in the OCP structure but it is mentioned in the Basic Fact explaining the different forums. “ Statistics Forum provides useful statistics and indicators which city monitors regularly to measure performance of the municipal programmes.”   DownLoads forum provides a download site for important government documents and all governmental forms. In this way, there is no need for the citizens to go physically to the Government site to pick the form up.  Is it possible to submit the forms once fulfilled?
