2. Definition of Terms Student any person officially enrolled in school. The person intended to take the exams. Invigilator a member of the school’s faculty and staff authorized to assume responsibility for supervision and/or organization of the exam. Examination room (a.k.a. exam room) the room where the examination will be or is being conducted.
3. Examination Rooms Library this room will be the venue for all paper-based exams. Computer Room this room will be the venue for both Elementary and some High School computer-based exams Test Room (Grade 8-10 Homeroom) this room will be the venue for High School computer-based exams.
4. Seating and ID Numbers Seating arrangement in the exam will be decided by the exam invigilators. They also have the authority to change the seating arrangement if necessary. In taking the examination, you will be required of your ID number. So make sure that you have it before taking the exam. To get your ID numbers, see your homeroom teacher.
5. Entering and leaving the exam room Be on time for the exam. Any student who is late for 15 minutes will not be allowed to take the current exam. The student who missed the exam should make proper arrangement with the subject teacher for the re-test. When leaving the exam room, you have to get the invigilator’s permission and must leave quietly to avoid disturbing the other students writing their exams.
6. Entering and leaving the exam room Make sure to visit the rest rooms and drinking stations before the exam starts. Going out of the exam room while the exam is going-on is not preferred. In case of emergencies, please make an arrangement with the exam invigilators.
8. Proper Behavior All rules in the Student Handbook will apply. Eating, unless for medical reasons, is not permitted in the exam room. Any personal belongings such as mobile phones, books, revision notes or written material of any kind must be given to the Invigilators. They should not, in any way, be on your desk.
9. Proper Behavior You must switch off all mobile phones prior to entering the exam room. If you have questions, raise your hand and wait for the invigilators to come. Any of these actions is considered Cheating: Having any book, notes or documents on you at any time during the exam. Talking to, copying from, or in any way communicating with another student Note: Students caught cheating will automatically get zero (0) for that exam
