Businesses: Some businesses such as Lawyers advertise in the media, and they help people because they make people aware that if they even need a Lawyer, they know where to go. Gadgets: Gadgets such as the iPhone influence people because of their sleek appearance and fancy workings make the practically irresistible. This means people can end up spending a lot of money buying or upgrading their iPhones unnecessarily, often with money they could use for other, more important things. Children’s Programmes Some children’s programmes such as the Wombles teach children to look after the environment and help to make the place they live in nicer. This helps because they are taught this at a young age, so it stick in their heads and they remember it.
